Fire Retardant Hook and Loop
Fire Retardant Hook & Loop is 100% nylon and is coated with a fire-retardant substance. It consists of two components, typically, two lineal fabric strips (or smaller segments) which are attached (sewn or otherwise adhered) to the opposing surfaces designed to be fastened together.

SPECIFICATIONS
- 100% woven nylon
- Recommended for a peel incidence between 0 – 3000• Product supplied in a roll of 25 Meters
- The Hook and Loop will not burn nor transmit a flame front across its surface at a rate greater than 102 mm/minute
- The Hook and Loop will not burn for more than 60 seconds and will not exceed a distance of 51mm from the point of ignition
- Shear strength 15 Newtons / CM2
- Peel strength 3,2 Newtons / CM
- Breaking strength – Hook 38 Newton / MM
- Breaking strength – Loop is 32 Newton / MM
- The shrinkage percentage is 1,5%
- Colour fastened

PRODUCT CARE
- Keep product away from dust, debris, loose threads and sand as this clogs either the hooks or the loops and weakens it’s closing ability.
- Always wash to the temperature indicated on the wash care of the item that the hook and loop is attached to.
- Never use a hot iron directly onto the hook or loop.
- When cleaning, use a tooth brush/soft bristled brush and/or lint roller to remove excess debris from the hooks or the loops.
- Always try and close the hook and loop before being placed into a washing machine.
- Regular domestic washing detergents can be used.
- Never exceed the indicated washing temperature as this will reduce the life of the product.
